I have been trying to get an Axis P5522-E camera to work, but I can't get it to power up, the LED doesn't light up. The Axis T8123 Midspan works because I moved to an operational camera and it worked with it. The Port light on the midspan is slow blinking indicating an over current or short circuit on the port when I have it connected to the non working camera. I have two other cameras within a 3- 6 month time frame that started doing this same thing. It is difficult for me to believe that I have three camera's that have failed when they are in different parts of my state. There is something that i am missing. If any one has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Your POE Mode B circuitry in your P5522-E May be damaged by surge. Try using a POE switch to power up the unit, it may work as POE switch used the POE mode A circuitry on the P5522-E.
