Hi all!
Anyone tell me why my three unused slots are asking the server for IP addresses? I thought only the blade was able to do that?
Of the four slots only the first has a blade and it is fine.
Well, TIA!

Regards,

Henry

Hello Cheng. Q7414. I cannot supply IP/MAC due to security.
The server log states "on the network constantly requesting DHCP..."
I also can not get access to the AXIS log.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

So the basic question is how are three open slots asking for IPs? Don't know. :(

Thanks Cheng!
I presume that is what Robert was told; he did not share how he fixed the problem....

Thanks for your help.

Henry

Hi Cheng , et al.
I finally talked to the guy here about the fix.
He stated that AXIS gave him an FTP to an older app which let him assign the three unused MACs to a private network.
Of course he didn't write any of this on the ticket I opened nor did the AXIS rep assigned to the ticket.

So I hope this helps anyone in the future with this problem.
PS : our LAN hardware would not let him have any open IPs to assign the MACs to.....

Regards,

Henry
