Dear Friends,

We have a question about the connection to recorder. I am using Share Path and my camera is connected to my network through switch. The share path is on a File Server. The error "Could not contact the recorder" is happen when enter manually the share path from Axis Companion software. Any idea about this error? Thank you so much.

I just submitted a case with Axis related to this problem.

I am using P3225-LVE Mk II with fw v8.40.1 (current) and was trying (with no success) to connect to a network share (i.e. \\server\share). It kept saying it was not able to connect to the share but I know the share is working as I can connect to the share and read/write files to it.

I also tried using Axis Campanion on Win10 PC and still had the same problem.

I downgraded the camera fw to v8.20.1 and it worked. I did not try the various v8.30.x versions as I was tired of re-configuring the camera every time after doing a reset to factory defaults.
