Hi everyone,

I'm running ACS 5.19 with a bunch of M1124 cameras that have video motion detection enabled at a building that is not normally staffed. I'm running into a problem where the building is accessed randomly by maintenance staff which causes the rules to trigger and send out email alerts for motion. I'm fine with the alerts firing once in a while when the building is initially accessed but I'd like to be able to automatically disable the motion alarms when an employee is there working on equipment. Is there a way to set the rules in ACS so that they are conditional? For example, if the camera detects motion and an input contact is closed then an alarm should be triggered but if the contact is open then the camera motion is ignored. I do have a A9161 I/O installed monitoring some of the equipment in the building and ideal I'd like to use it to control the status of the video motion detection rules.

Thanks,
Doug
