Hi,
I tryed to update my Axis 5600 via ftp. It worked till it started the transfer. This transfer was interrupted. Something like "The peer reseted the connection" was shown. Now my server doesn't start really. Both lights glow, but nothing works anymore. Not the test/konfig-page, nore the connection to it. Also cold reset doesn't work.

What can I do? Please help me!

You should try to set an IP address first. Use arp/ping as it says in the installation manual. You can find the installation manual on Axis' support website.
If that works, you could try a new upgrade. For the upgrade connect the print server directly to the computer through a cross-over cable. Open a second DOS command window to ping the print server during the update.
Otherwise you could ask DataComponents in Berlin to fix it (I assume you are from Germany).

If I understand it right, I have to put in the IP, I want to give my router. So I write:
arp -s 192.168.1.90 00-40-8c-45-3f-da

But then it shows:
Hinzufügen des ARP-Eintrags fehlgeschlagen: 5

Do you know what it means?

Are you using Vista? It seems that you'll need admin rights for the arp command.
Please also check with ping 192.168.1.90 that the IP address is not used by a different device. Just to make it clear, 192.168.1.90 is the address that will be assigned to the print server.
It is also a good idea to delete the arp table by
Code:
arp -d *
before using arp -s 192.168.1.90 00-40-8c-45-3f-da

The IP-Adress is not used before. I deleted the arp table before and went into admin mode. Now the arp command worked without errors, but the server doesn't answer on my ping.
Code:

C:\Windows\system32>arp -d *

C:\Windows\system32>arp -s 192.168.1.90 00-40-8c-45-3f-da

C:\Windows\system32>ping 192.168.1.90

Ping wird ausgeführt für 192.168.1.90 mit 32 Bytes Daten:

Zeitüberschreitung der Anforderung.
Zeitüberschreitung der Anforderung.
Zeitüberschreitung der Anforderung.
Zeitüberschreitung der Anforderung.

Ping-Statistik für 192.168.1.90:
    Pakete: Gesendet = 4, Empfangen = 0, Verloren = 4 (100% Verlust),

Do you know where the problem is now?

You have to use ping -t 192.168.1.90
When you issued the command, switch the power off and on again. It get take some time until the print server is booted and accepted the IP address. Perhaps few minutes.

I tryed all your suggestions. I tryed also ping -t but nothing worked. No answer. I also rebooted it and pinged again, but nothing.
Code:

C:\Windows\system32>arp -s 192.168.1.90 00-40-8c-45-3f-da

C:\Windows\system32>arp -a

Schnittstelle: 172.25.251.25 --- 0x8
  Internetadresse       Physikal. Adresse     Typ
  172.25.251.255        ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff     statisch
  224.0.0.22            01-00-5e-00-00-16     statisch
  239.255.255.250       01-00-5e-7f-ff-fa     statisch

It seems not to work.
