Hello there,

maybe someone of you can help me with my problem….

My idea was to detect a Motion via the cam (M3106-LVE) an as soon as the motion is detected I would like to start with a delay (the delay is the important thing) sending an e-Mail to myself.

Background would be the cam is recording the motion starting at the beginning on SD Card.
If the motion is basically longer than e.g. 60 seconds, I would like to start sending me an e-mail to get the Information of activities which seems to be interesting to look live at.

I already tried following:
VMD is set correctly -> motion is detected.
Motion is stored on SD Card -> check
E-Mail is set up correctly -> test with test function.

First action rule -> (Start condition only!) Applications -> VMD -> YES -> Send notification -> Local Virtual Input -> New Recipient (set up like follow: HTTP -> URL: http://127.0.0.1/axis-cgi/io/virtualinput.cgi -> Username + Cam password) add Custom parameter -> Action 1:\60000/1000\ (this would delay for 60s toggle to ON for 1s the “Local virtual Input” and switch OFF again).
Second action rule -> Input signal -> virtual inputs -> 1 // Additional conditions = Input Signal -> Manual Trigger -> YES -> Send notification -> Email-> Subject -> Message

This doesn´t work and I do not know why….
The VMD store to the SD Card, so I´m pretty sure it will also trigger in the first rule.
Therefore I suggest that the problem is located somewhere in the virtual Input configuration?!? But where?

Maybe anyone of you can help me where the Problem/bug is located.
Thank you in advance.

P.S. FW newest Version 7.30.1

Best regards,
Tibor

Your error is "Manual trigger", remove it.

If it does not work on your camera, you have to share your unit's server report for us to help you.

Without it the fault cannot be isolated and it will only be wild guess, use a google drive or dropbox to share the document.

For large files you can use http://www.wetransfer.com

If you are interested in further discussion, please contact me via Skype @ Cheng.Xin.SG

Dear Cheng,

Thank you for the information and your help!
I will try your suggestion asap and will feedback the result of course.
So did I get you right that I didn´t need the additional conditions in the second rule completely?
Just leave it like this: Input signal -> virtual inputs -> 1 -> Send notification -> Email-> Subject -> Message

Thank you for a short confirmation.

BR
Tibor

The "manual trigger" is not necessary unless you want to turn on and off the event via the manual trigger button on the live view. E.g when you are out off the house, you turn on the event with manual trigger and turn off when you are back at home.
