The exciting looking AXIS Q3807-PVE is finally released in North America, I've been waiting on these for quite a while, for some particular outdoor parking lot applications.

For anyone that has tested these -- how does the field of view compare with the 3708-PVE model, which for my needs is "zoomed in" too close? Same goes for the 3709-PVE. I'm hoping the Q3807 is zoomed our farther so I can cover a wider area outside these buildings, without having to mount up higher.

The new Q3807 datasheet shows a 90 degree vertical field of view, but there is no vertical field of view shown on the datasheet for either the 3708 or 3709 models, so I have no comparison basis. It's a 3.2mm vs 5.0mm focal length but with multi-sensor I have no idea if that is significant in answering my question.

If I remember correctly, the 3708 has a vertical field of view of ~50 degrees. The 3807 at 90 degrees provides a big vertical field of view improvement. Essentially, the four sensors on the 3807 are four 16:9 sensors flipped on their side in corridor format.

Thanks Brendan, that's excellent news. I'm getting ready to order a gaggle of them and was debating whether to dry to get a loaner from my partner or just wing it...

I appreciate the feedback!
