I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for setting up a camera (looking at the Axis P1347-E) on a light pole in the parking lot and sending the video back to the building for viewing and recording using a wireless technology. Axis use to list some wireless partners on their website but I don’t see that list anymore. I am only talking about sending the video 140 feet so I guess 802.11n could be used.
If you have experience in doing this please give recommendations or lessons learnt.

Thanks,
Doug

We are using Ubiquiti NSM5 for this exact application. A pair of these radio/antennas is under $200 and I have not touched these since the install 1+ year ago. I set them up for point-to-point with one master / one slave. They can be found here:

I will second both reply's. The Ubiquiti Nanostations are excellent and are very reasonably priced. I am using NSM5 for 2 cameras 3 miles away from server.

For the benefit of anyone searching, we've used the ubiquiti 24 Ghz product with a Q6045. Installed distance is 1/2 mile LOS, and it has performed flawlessly.
