I created a very basic html file to allow the live viewing of multiple 216FD cameras. The down side is that when you first open the webpage it requires you to log into each camera to view its MJPEG stream. I would like to embed the username and password into the webpage. Here is an example of a link I'm using http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?resolution=320x240

For those with security concerns the html is held locally on the computer and is not available on the web.

Thanks for your help

Look around at the forum. This has been asked a million times (including by me). It's not easily possible.

A solution could be to set "Enable Anonymous view" in the Users settings to true.

In my programs I use such command:
http://view:view@192.168.2.92/axis-cgi/jpg/image.cgi?resolution=640x480&camera=1&compression=60

where: view:view = user:passwd

I define user view with same password i cameras. And it works.

MJPEG works the same way, but I use AXIS Camera Control SDK (ActiveX) istalled on Windows.

When You try this command with Internet Explorer or Firefox, you coud be asked about login and password, but in prgorams it works without any problems.

There is test program I wrote in DELPHI - you can try. May be it wil help you.(ftp://ftp.ztkmikro.pl/TestAxisURL.exe)
Itried it today with 216MFD Smile

This maybe a little to simple, but for viewing in HTML I setup a user and password in the camera and enter the following options in my html code

output += '<param name="MediaUsername" value="username">';
output += '<param name="MediaPassword" value="password">';
